Currently seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Houston, TX (Hobby Airport) location.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Assistant include, but are not limited to:

* Answer multi-line telephone to relay incoming and interoffice calls

* Greet vendors, customers, job applicants, and other visitors in a professional manner

* Determine purpose of call and route all calls to appropriate personnel or department

* Retrieve messages from voicemail and forward to appropriate department

* Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

* Distribute all incoming AP mail

* File expense and freight invoices as needed

* Issue purchase orders

* Data entry

Qualifications of the Accounts Payable Assistant include, but are not limited to:

* 2 years of general office clerk experience required

* High School Diploma or GED required

* Great organizational skills

* Must be detail oriented

* Computer literate with 10 key experience

* Excellent phone etiquette and multi-line telephone experience

* Ability to multi-task

* Must be able to work independently

* Must have excellent verbal communication skills

* Professional attitude

Physical Demand: Lifting up to 15lbs

Working Conditions: Office/manufacturing

Training/Certifications: N/A

Shift Time/Overtime: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, overtime as needed

Travel: N/A

Education: High School Diploma or GED
