JobTitle: Accounts Payable Clerk Classification: Non-Exempt Job Location: Corporate Office About Us: Third Coast Distributing was founded in 2013 and is part of aglobal service organization engaged in the distribution of automotive andindustrial replacement parts.Doing business as NAPA Auto Parts, TCD servesthousands of customers from an independent network of 25 locations in 21 citiesacross South and Central Texas. About the Role: The Accounts Payable Clerk will ensure that theaccounts payable process is completed in an accurate and timely manner. Supportthe operations with accurate and meaningful information. Explore ways to makethe business more profitable and efficient. This position reports to the Business Manager. Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all aspects of accounts payable.
  • Ensure all bills are processed and paid in a timely manner.
  • Maintain credit cards, reconcile credit card receipts and creditcard statements from stores.
  • Update and review daily cash forecast.
  • Manage company vehicle registrations, insurance and fleet listing.
  • Maintain compliance with required state records.
  • Audit store cash journal reports daily.
  • Coverall or partial A/R functions, when needed.
About You: The idealcandidate will have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • High School Degree or GED; accounting degree preferred, not required.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in AP/AR.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exemplaryinterpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills andattention to detail.
  • Outstandingtime management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Relate well with and interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
  • Proficiency with orthe ability to quickly learn QuickBooks Online and other related software.
  • Occasional travel between locations by vehicle on behalf of the company; must possess and maintain a current valid drivers license.
  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior office work environment.
