Advantage Resourcing is on the lookout for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team in Scott, LA. If you have a sharp eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and can handle multiple tasks efficiently, we want to hear from you! Pay: $18-$22 per hour Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, and Friday, 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for processing accounts payable invoices and ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors. You will maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records in line with accounting standards and reconcile vendor statements while promptly resolving any discrepancies. Effective communication with vendors is crucial to address any issues related to payments or invoices. Additionally, you will manage the accounts payable email inbox, respond to inquiries professionally, and assist with month-end closing activities, including reconciliations and accruals. Monitoring aging reports to ensure the timely payment of outstanding invoices, preparing and processing electronic payments and checks for signatures, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures related to accounts payable are also key aspects of the role. You will also provide support for other accounting and finance functions as needed. Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite accounting software is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of accounts payable principles and practices.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with electronic payment processing is a plus.
