Sunwise Auto Group is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and turnkey Automotive Accounts Payable Clerk to join our growing and expanding team. This is a full-time position and will work out of our corporate business office in Concord, CA. We are looking for someone who needs minimal training and can jump right in. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Post, file and reconcile vendor and manufacturer invoices and statements
- Post, process and remit payments for monthly expenses
- Process and remit vendor payments in a timely manner
- Maintain and reconcile schedules
- Update, maintain and log vendor W-9s, 1099 reporting
- Perform basic and routine accounting functions
- Follow all established company and department policies and procedures
- Must be able to meet productivity expectations set by Manager and/or Controller
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Manager and/or Controller
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Automotive dealership experience a plus
- Minimum 2 years accounts payable experience
- Experience with ADP/CDK automotive accounting software, MS software applications and multi-line dealership experience a plus
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Adept skills to effectively and professionally communicate with internal and external customers including: vendors, managers and all other company employees
- Strong attention to detail, good with numbers, and proficient with accounting software and with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to multitask
- Positive attitude
COMPENSATION: The Accounts Payable Clerk Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $25.00 and $30.00.
