Kentucky Educational Television, (KET) has the following full-time position opening at its Lexington, Kentucky Network Center: Accounts Payable Clerk KET is Kentucky's only statewide media organization, serving more than two million people each week with programs and services that educate, inform, and inspire. In addition to broadcasting PBS programming, KET produces a variety of award-winning local productions and creates high quality, nationally recognized educational resources. As a member of our team, you'll help bring learning to life for viewers and users in Kentucky. Located in the Bluegrass region of Kentucky, Lexington is a beautiful and growing community. Our ideal Candidate will: Process Foundation Accounts Payable by reviewing approved invoices, processing and entering payables, completing check and credit card payments for the Kentucky Authority for Educational Television, Kentucky Educational Television Foundation, and the Commonwealth Fund for KET. Process KET Foundation and Commonwealth Fund for KET purchase orders by entering in accounting software daily; reduce/close purchase orders as needed. Organize invoices and Accounts Payable filing. Open, scan, and distribute mail daily. Provide scheduled breaks for the receptionist. Record checks received in excel and distribute to appropriate staff daily. Effectively collaborate with team members by sharing skills, knowledge, and processes. Seek and participate in applicable training opportunities. Demonstrate dedication to diversity in areas of responsibility. Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission of the organization. Successful applicants will have the following minimum qualifications, skills, and experience: A bachelor's degree in a related field or a minimum of two (2) years related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience preferred. Must have professional communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Excel required. Knowledge of Access a plus. Knowledge of KET and public broadcasting industry a plus. Must maintain a valid driver's license to drive KET vehicles. Working with KET has its benefits!
