Job DetailsJob Location Spalding-McClure Academic Center (MAC) - Louisville, KY Salary Range $36,000.00 Job Category Finance DescriptionJOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for all aspects of the payroll process for the University including but not limited to the accurate and timely processing of payroll, maintaining accurate payroll databases, and assuring that proper policies and controls are followed. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Review invoices/check requests for accuracy, coding and approvals.
  • Process accounts payable invoices/check requests in ERP system.
  • Process all purchase orders including entering in ERP system and processing related invoices for payment.
  • Process weekly check runs, ACH and vendor credit card payments.
  • Contact other university departments and vendors to gather data required to complete payment process.
  • Process void entries.
  • Perform monthly closing and balancing of accounts payable.
  • Compile Accounts Payable month end accruals.
  • Assist with audits and/or special projects as needed.
  • Order check forms.
  • Other duties as assigned
QualificationsSKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Excellent customer service skills including written and verbal communications.
  • Must be able to interpret, administer, and communicate University policies related to financial operations.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, organizing, and prioritizing.
  • Working knowledge MS Word and Excel
