The ideal candidate will manage and process invoices, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, ensure timely payments, and maintain accurate records. - Invoice Processing: Receive, review, and verify invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies before processing payment. Individuals should be able to handle AP for multiple locations and high invoice volumes.
- Payment Execution: Prepare and execute payments.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions and ensure that supporting documentation is correctly filed.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements and accounts, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
- Vendor Communication: Communicate with vendors to resolve any payment issues or discrepancies and maintain positive relationships.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in an Accounts Payable, specifically handling multiple locations, and a high invoice volume preferred.
- Skills: Strong numerical and analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with vendors and internal teams.
- Organization: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
