Description We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Bronx, New York. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, your main role will be to manage the payable process and coordinate all invoice and payment activities. You will also be involved in payroll processes, bank reconciliations, and monthly close-off procedures.Responsibilities- Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications- Keep customer credit records up-to-date- Resolve customer inquiries promptly- Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions- Manage payable processes in Quick Books or other relevant software- Track and process all invoices, payments, and expenditures- Reconcile processed work and ensure accuracy in payments- Assist with payroll processes, including entering journals from payroll reports- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and identify items needing adjusting journals- Assist in carrying out monthly Accounts Payable close-off processes- Continuously work towards improving the Accounts Payable process. Requirements - Minimum of 1 year experience in an Accounts Payable role- Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)- Demonstrated experience with Quickbooks Online- Familiarity with VLOOKUP function in Excel- Proficient with Microsoft ExcelRobert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
