What you'll do as a Accounts Payable Clerk:
- Perform general ledger accounting duties including month-end close activities, general ledger reporting, along with account analysis and reconciliation
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with the preparation of schedules and working papers for annual financial statement audits
- File sales and tax returns (monthly, quarterly, and annual filings)
- Data entry including verification of payments using internal software
What you'll bring to the Accounts Payable Clerk:
- 2-year degree in accounting or finance required
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with ERP system
- Strong knowledge of Excel formulas and functions to manipulate data
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills with a keen ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Ability to adhere to and meet deadlines
- Ability to handle and maintain sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
