The accounts payable associate compiles, classifies, records, verifies, and maintains data to accounts payable records. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented and dependable. Responsibilities Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrepares, sorts, copies, and files invoices, correspondence, and other requested items.Audits invoices against purchase orders.Posts invoices into accounting system for payment.Balances monthly statements.Assists in monthly and annual closing.Provides daily payment information and totals.Assists with related special projects, as required.Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications Required Skills, Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent from an accredited educational institution or three months related training and/or experience.
