Job DetailsResponsibilities:1. Oversee all aspects of the accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment processing, and vendor management.2. Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and payment transactions.3. Maintain and update vendor records, including contact information, payment terms, and tax information.4. Prepare and review accounts payable reports and spreadsheets.5. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.6. Collaborate with other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable.7. Participate in the month-end close process, including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.8. Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary information and answering queries.9. Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in accounts payable and the energy industry.10. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the accounts payable process by identifying and implementing process efficiencies.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounts payable role, preferably in the energy industry.3. Knowledge and experience with hydrocarbon accounting is a must.4. Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.5. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.7. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.8. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.11.
