The Accounting Payable Coordinator is responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical services. This includes the processing and monitoring of payments and expenditures. Providing these services in an efficient and accurate manner so that vendors and suppliers are paid within time limits. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Ready to Fly!
- Enter all invoices according to associations budgets
- Utilize the Strong Room process in accordance with policies and procedures for each client
- Process manual payments and phone payments when necessary
- Maintain vendor W9's and appropriate certificates of insurance
- Handles phone calls regarding vendor histories
- Back up for and/or handling estoppel processing
- Back up for and/or handling collections
- Handles entry of new owners into accounting system
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: The Wingspan Needed!
- 2 to 5 years of accounts payable experience preferred
- Ability to meet deadlines, and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Property management accounting software experience a plus
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance or minimum two years of accounting/accounts payable experience
- Occasional travel may be required
