Accounts Payable/Grower Clerk

Seneca Foods in Cumberland, WI is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk/Grower Clerk individual to join our team. Seneca Foods offers an excellent benefit package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K, paid time off and much more! Help us make our Farm Fresh Goodness Great!

Responsible for the accurate preparation of accounts payable records and assisting the plant controller in all areas of accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate preparation of accounts payable records.
• Assist the plant controller in all areas of accounting.
• Assist Ag personnel with grower's payments, trucking and outside purchases.
• Processing vouchers using SAP based system.
• Maintain timekeeping on a Kronos based system.
• Process plant payroll, as necessary.
• Maintain records in a confidential and professional manner.
• Must cover other administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• One to two years' experience in Accounts Payable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with SAP and Kronos.
• Must have good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently.

• Willingness and ability to work and function in a team environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally.
• Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
• High school diploma and/or degree in accounting.
• Required to lift 50 pounds.
• Valid Driver's license.
