The key responsibilities of this position include:
Match invoices with purchase orders and enter them for payment.Obtain approval from department supervisor and assign general ledger coding for expenses prior to payment entry.Process weekly checks, wires, and ACH payments.Post entries to the accounting system and reconcile bills.Respond to vendor inquiries regarding their accounts.Compile and maintain accounts payable records.Print, review, and process expense reports.Perform other tasks and projects assigned by the supervisor.Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting (Preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable (Preferred)
- Proficient in accounting principles and practices
- Strong customer service skills
