Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager to run our company's accounts payable processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire accounts payable ledger, including invoicing processing. ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices and, maintaining vendor relationships. The Accounts Payable Manager will report directly to the Financial Accounting Director and will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and efficiency of the organization.

Position Responsibilities

• Day-to-day operations of the accounts payable, including invoice processing, payment disbursements, and vendor management.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, addressing any issues or discrepancies promptly and effectively.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as applicable federal and state regulations.
• Prepare and analyze accounts payable accounts and reports, including aging reports, and present findings to senior management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounts payable function.
• Oversee the reconciliation of accounts payable sub-ledger to the general ledger and other financial statements.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits related to accounts payable activities.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy using SAP R/3

Position Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable
• Deep knowledge of SAP R/3 (FI/MM module) and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with vendors, colleagues, and management.
