Job Details We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team in the medical industry. As a telemetry nurse, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and interpreting the vital signs of patients, primarily those with cardiac conditions. You will work in a fast-paced environment, where every second counts, and your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients. Responsibilities: Provide continuous monitoring and interpretation of patient's vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation levels. Administer medications, as prescribed by physicians, and monitor their effects on patients. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients. Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques. Respond promptly to alarms and alerts, and take appropriate actions to address any potential issues. Document all patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction. Qualifications: Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid license to practice in the state. Minimum of 2 years of experience in telemetry nursing, with a strong focus on cardiac telemetry. Proficient in interpreting EKGs and other cardiac monitoring equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make quick and accurate decisions in high-pressure situations. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic computer skills. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
