AP/AR Clerk - Insurance Monsey, NY $25 - $30 an hour Job Summary: The AP/AR Clerk will be responsible for performing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions for the company's commercial insurance and risk management services Responsibilities:
- Records A/R (accounts Receivable) payments, from Customers, into QuickBooks and other industry specific software.
- Processes accounts payable invoices and payments in accordance with company policies and procedures through QuickBooks and other industry specific software.
- Reconciles vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepares and issues client invoices for services rendered.
- Monitors accounts receivable aging and follows up with customers on overdue invoices/payments.
- Assists with month-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Assists with financial reporting and analysis as needed.
- Provides support to the finance team and other departments as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of commercial insurance and risk management principles is a plus.
- Minimum two years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable.
