Description of the role: The Accounts Payable/Receivable position at H&K Chevrolet Inc. in Continental, Ohio involves managing and overseeing all aspects of the company's accounts payable and receivable operations.
Responsibilities: - Processing invoices and purchase orders - Verifying and reconciling invoices with purchase orders and receiving reports - Handling and resolving discrepancies and issues with vendors and suppliers - Generating and sending out invoices to customers - Following up on outstanding payments and collections - Posting and tracking payments received - Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records - Assisting with other accounting tasks as needed
Requirements: - Previous experience in accounts payable and receivable or a related field - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to effectively communicate and work with vendors, suppliers, and customers - Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures - Associate's degree in accounting or similar field (preferred, but not required)
