Job DescriptionFlexStaff is seeking a temporary Accounts Payable Analyst for our Client, a power plant, located in Astoria, Queens, NY.This is a full-time, Monday-Friday, 7a-3pm, temporary job (long-term indefinite duration). No benefits.In this role you will be assisting with invoice payment processing and month end accruals.The ideal candidate would have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and experience with processing AP.Key duties and responsibilities include:
- Processing and recording invoices in a timely and accurate manner / 3-way match
- Managing vendor relationships and resolving any related issues.
- Maintaining accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Month end close activities
