Job DescriptionEverstaff is seeking a Cash Applications Specialist for a reputable organization in the Beachwood area!Essential Job Functions
- Record and track all lockbox and mail deposits daily.
- Apply payments to donors' pledge accounts accurately and promptly.
- Investigate and resolve payment-related inquiries.
- Process credit card payments and credits as necessary.
- Maintain the schedule for recurring credit card payments.
- Prepare daily reports of online credit card transactions and reconcile with the Web Processor report.
- Create journal entries and apply payments for online transactions.
- Make adjustments to donor accounts as required.
- Prepare routine journal entries.
- Generate weekly collection reports.
- Perform account reconciliations as needed.
- Create Excel imports for the CRM system.
- Regularly file and process work-related materials.
- Engage professionally and collaborate effectively with staff.
- 15. Take on additional responsibilities and execute special projects as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Personal Characteristics
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, with internet use.
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat, specifically knowledge in editing and manipulating documents.
- High attention to detail, follow-up, self-motivated, proactive, and solution-focused.
- Ability to maintain an established record-keeping system and office procedures.
- Ability to express self effectively and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to tactfully and effectively deal with staff in a personable and professional manner.
- Ability to work independently with general direction.
- Maintains a high level of energy and a consistent positive attitude.
- Ability to manage high volumes of work at peak times of year.
