Our purpose-built and all-in-one practice, management, data, and billing solutions drive exceptional critical and financial outcomes.Thousands of therapy practices rely on us as atrusted partner, to make their lives simpler and more officiant, improve revenue, and enable them to focus on patient care.For more information, explore our solutions at therapybrands.com.Job DescriptionThe purpose of the position is to provide support to the Finance and Accounting team by handling the full cycle AP Process.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:• Enter and process vendor bills in Workday accounting system.• Obtain proper approval of invoices per Company's policies and procedures• Work closely with other departments and external customers to resolve billing related issues, including balance disputes and delinquencies, while exceeding client service expectations.• Prepare annual tax filing Form 1099s• Maintain vendor files and W-9s• Resolve invoice discrepancies timely and provides requested information to business owners, FP&A, management, and vendors as needed• Maintain accounting records as required per company policy and required for GAAP and control purposes (documentation, approvals, etc.)• Apply best practices to all AP areas by adding value through process improvement and creating workflow efficiencies, e.g. reduce processing time, improve accuracy and reduce paper-based processes.• Complete supplier set up in accounting systems making sure all required documentation is received.• Interact with various third-party service providers• Complete monthly Census Reports of Outside contractors• Assist in process to file business licenses• Assist with transitioning AP function for new acquisitions• Review monthly AP aging reports• Assist in ad hoc projects as requested by managementQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE• 2-5 years of experience in multiple company accounts payable setup required. Experience in SAAS related companies preferred• Associate/Bachelor's degree in accounting or the equivalent combination ofeducation, training, or work experience preferred.COMMUNICATION SKILLS• Need to possess strong verbal and written communication skills and be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.• Must be highly collaborative and able to work across multiple functional areasFINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE• Requires strong level of accounts payable knowledgeTECHNOLOGY SKILLS• Strong user of MS Excel including pivot tables and use of formulas.• Working knowledge of Workday preferred.REASONING ABILITY• Possess the ability to work independently and solve complex problems.• Must be proactive and inspired to perform without outside help• Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations.SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITYDecisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines.
