Responsible for ensuring that invoices are paid in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner according to established medical center policies and accounting procedures are adhered. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Effectively use hospital systems (Meditech, GHX, Commerce Bank) for invoice processing and third-party payments.
- Process invoices for Cayuga Health System (CMC & Schuyler), maintaining the GHX queue and resolving quantity and cost discrepancies with Materials Management.
- Train new directors or designees on the GHX OnDemand System and ensure smooth check runs, including EFTs and Commerce payments.
- Investigate and resolve past due accounts, communicate with vendors, and manage open credits within 12 months.
- Prepare and report IRS 1099, NYS Unclaimed Funds, and recover unclaimed funds due to Cayuga Medical Center.
- File quarterly for NYS Sales Tax recovery and manage transactions in the Commerce Active Funds system.
- Assist with monthly closings, maintain confidentiality, and work collaboratively with the team and management.
Required Skills and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associates degree in accounting/business-related field
- Minimum of one year of employment experience in an accounting/business environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Outlook and Excel

- Physical Requirements - 90% sitting 10% standing

Pay Range Disclosure:
- $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
