LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist in Baltimore on a contract basis. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for processing high volume of invoices, ensuring timely payments and resolving discrepancies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail and strong understanding of the accounts payable process. Responsibilities:
- Verify and process invoices along with employee expense reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain meticulous payment records and system files to facilitate smooth financial operations.
- Prepare and execute payments and electronic transfers, ensuring timeliness and precision.
- Contribute to month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Generate insightful reports and conduct thorough analysis of accounts payable activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven track record in accounts payable or general accounting roles.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software to streamline processes and maximize efficiency.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role. Employment Type: Contract
Pay Details: $26.00 to $33.00 per hour
