Job Description:

(HYBRID -Temp) Accounts Payable SpecialistDescription:•Stamp and sort incoming mail. Scan the invoices and email to the AP group email address.•Save e-invoices from the accounts payable email address to the appropriate folder.•Handle of invoices timely and efficient manner.•Verify invoices for quantity, unit pricing, extension and discount. Initiate calls to vendors or other departments to clarify any questionable data regarding invoice payments.•Route miscellaneous invoices to the necessary person for payment approval via Adobe approval process.•Review and assign appropriate general ledger account and cost center numbers to voucher for proper distribution to financial statements.•Enter invoices in accounts payable system.•Use integrated accounting system to process invoices against system purchase orders.•Research vendor statements•Answers questions from departments or vendors in regarding invoice payments or other accounts payable issues.•Perform other duties as required.Top Skills:invoices, accounts payable, AP specialist, account receivable, general ledger, excel, reconcile, excel, SAP, SAP, Accounts PayableAbout Aston Carter:Aston Carter provides world-class corporate talent solutions to thousands of clients across the globe.
