Job OverviewWe're looking for highly motivated individuals to join our strong and growing accounting team. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for assisting management with various financial and administrative duties.Accounts Payable Specialist Job Responsibilities:•Receiving and recording vendor invoices within ERP system•Processing invoices to make sure payments are applied accurately and on time; processing payment runs•Matching and filing invoices and receiving records•Answering queries from suppliers, contractors, and other business departments about accounts payable or payments made•Coordinate with our contracted AP processing team; be a Subject Matter Expert to guide them•Work in, and help further develop, our use of Bill.com and other payment technology platforms•Distributing invoice copies to finance staff and other relevant departments•Other ad hoc tasks as requested from supervisorPreferred Skills and Qualifications:•Associate's Degree in Accounting or Business•Minimum of two years working in a similar role; experience in a data entry role•Proficiency in using computer software, familiarity with NetSuite is a plus•Proficiency in office software, such as Microsoft Excel and Word•Ability to collaborate, manage vendor requests, and answer queries•Excellent organizational and communication skills•High standards of accuracy and attention to detail•Willingness to grow over time as the AP department expands or evolves to a shared services model•Demonstrate leadership traits and a willingness to tackle new challenges and build better processesCompensation: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour Newbury Franklin Industrials ( NFI ) is the data-driven industrial manufacturing and distribution platform of Newbury Franklin, a private equity firm focused on long-term holdings.
