See why we've been voted a Best Place to Work in Kentucky and a Nationally Certified Great Place to Work !An Accounts Payable Specialist with AHP works with vendors and internal departments to ensure payments are processed on time and with accuracy. The detail-oriented professional will be responsible for performing the following tasks:Answer accounts payable inquiries via phone or email and follow up in a timely manner.Enter vendor invoices into the corporate ERP System (P21) to be processed for payment.Reconcile vendor statements.Set up expense vendors in the corporate ERP System (P21).Bill customers for drop-shipments from vendors.Balance credit card statements.Enter company expenses into P21 and Microsoft Excel.Process freight bills.Enter vendor rebates into P21, Microsoft Excel, and various vendor websites.Schedule and print accounts payable checks.Assist with the annual financial statement or other audit documentation.Serve as backup for receptionist, as needed.Assist with related special projects as required.RequirementsEducation and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. One year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience strongly preferred, but not required.Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to learn an ERP system.Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages.Physical Demands/Work Environment: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
