About the Opportunity:Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join one of our clients in a temp-to-hire capacity. Key Responsibilities:

  • Process a high volume of vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
  • Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving reports.
  • Maintain vendor records and respond to inquiries regarding payment status.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in month-end closing processes and prepare related reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a related role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
