Accounts Payable Specialist

Position: Accounts Payable SpecialistLocation: Pleasanton, CASchedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Hybrid (3 days onsite after two weeks of training)Duration: Temporary through March 2025, with potential for temp-to-hirePay Range: $28-$33 per hour, dependent on experience (DOE)Experience: 2-5 years preferredStart Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice review, coding, and processing for payment.
• Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain positive vendor relationships.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments and compliance with company policies.
• Assist with month-end close processes by preparing AP-related reports and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve invoice and payment issues.
• Maintain and update records in accounting systems and support audit requirements as needed.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Software Knowledge: Experience with Sage Intacct is strongly preferred.
• Excel Proficiency: Intermediate-level skills, including the ability to use filters, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP functions effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with general accounting principles and AP processes.
