- Manage and process accounts payable transactions for multiple companies
- Match invoices to purchase orders and ensure accuracy of coding and approvals
- Reconcile vendor statements and respond to vendor inquiries
- Assist with month-end closings and accruals
- Process AP payments as needed
- Process year end 1099s
- Review and enter monthly credit card expenses
- Supply information and reports to co-workers when requested
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files
Requirements - What we are looking for in a new team member for this position:
- 3+ years of experience in accounts payable or other related A/P function
- Knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles
- Experience with construction, job cost accounting a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft suite, including but not limited to Excel, Teams, Outlook, & Word
- Knowledge of accounting systems
- In office position
- Exceptional attention to detail with a dedication to accuracy and ability to problem-solve
- Ability to juggle multiple competing demands, while simultaneously prioritizing effectively
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong work ethic
- Legally able to work in the United States
- The selected candidate will be required to pass a criminal history background check and pre-employment drug test
