Assist with project work and train team members as needed.Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
  • Oversee daily functions of AP team to ensure SLA's are being met on a consistent basis
  • Ensure team follows outlined policies and procedures of company and department as they pertain to AP functions
  • Process vendor invoices when required due to staffing or volume (estimated 15-20%)
  • Review and approve payment batches to ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices
  • Work with internal departments and suppliers to research and resolve disputed account discrepancies and be the second level escalation point
  • Complete cross-training on all other divisions supported by AP Shared Services
  • Conduct cross-training with all incoming AP Shared Services team members
  • Assist AP Shared Services Leader with project work as needed
  • Support audit activities
  • Responsible for assigned reporting activities (weekly, monthly, annually)
  • Adapt quickly to system and process changes
  • Train new and existing team members on system and process changes as per guidelines established by AP Shared Services Leader
  • Ensure all processes are fully documented and maintained as per schedule set forth by AP Shared Services Leader
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
Job Specifications:
  • ERP system experience preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
  • Strong Excel skills required
  • Ability to quickly adapt to fast changing environment
  • Excellent communication skills
Required Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous accounts payable experience required
  • Previous supervisory experience required
Supervisory/Responsibility:
  • Supervisor of 4-5 AP team members plus day-to-day oversight of team activities
Work Environment:This is an office position.Position Type:This is a regular, full-time position with the understanding that a regular workweek will require extended days and hours as needed to meet business needs.Travel:Minimal travel is expected for this position.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those performed in the job duties. The employee sits at a desk and uses a computer for prolonged periods of time. Performing the role frequently uses close vision, speech, hearing, and dexterity to operate office equipment.
