The Accounts Receivable Associate is a member of the Accounts Receivable Team handling the day-to-day Accounts Receivable duties. This includes working effectively with other departments and sister companies, as well as dealing with a variety of people outside of Instrumart (customers, banks, etc.).Job Duties:Bills customers for all orders shipped dailyIssues credit memos or refunds as neededFollows the corporate credit policy in regard to the credit granting, reporting, and updating processMakes sure tax procedures are followedWorks on daily customer deposits/payments and associated dutiesReviews orders for potential fraud using a variety of toolsVerifies that credit card orders are processed correctlyMaintains NetSuite customer database to ensure that information is current and accurateAssists the Credit Manager in making collection calls on past-due accountsUses a variety of websites and programs to complete daily credit duties, including Dun & Bradstreet, WAWF, Exostar, Ariba, Coupa, and CyberSourceMonitors shared emails to ensure all work is done accurately and in a timely mannerCross-trained to provide back-up support to our accounts payable teamRequired Skills:Technical aptitude. You're tech-savvy and can quickly figure out new systemsExcellent attention to detail and a capacity to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong written and verbal communication skills. You will be communicating with all of our internal departments on a daily basis, as well as our external customers, both over the phone and via emailA customer service mindset.
