Description
- Record customer payments by processing cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
- Verify and enter transactions from lockbox and local deposits to record revenue.
- Update and maintain the aging report for accounts receivable review.
- Investigate and resolve account discrepancies by collaborating with sales, customer service, and clients.
- Process authorized deductions by entering necessary adjusting entries.
- Handle invalid or unauthorized deductions by following the pending deduction procedures.
- Resolve collection issues by reviewing customer payment plans and history, and coordinating with the business.
- Summarize accounts receivable data for monthly reporting at month-end.
- Ensure all payments received are supported by valid documentation.
- Prepare accurate documents and manage records in compliance with accounts receivable retention policies.
- Safeguard the organization's value by maintaining confidentiality of information.

Profile
- High School Diploma or GED; Associate's Degree or equivalent preferred
- 1-3 years of Accounts Receivable experience
- Knowledge of accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance
- Strong math skills
- Proficient in MS Office and accounting software
- High accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
- Excellent data entry and analytical skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Effective verbal, written, and listening communication skills
