A rapidly growing company is currently seeking a full time Account Receivable Clerk to join our team! This is an entry level position ideal for someone who has just obtained a college degree majoring in accounting or finance recently (within 1-2 years), and has passion to pursue an accounting career. We are looking for a candidate to join our fast growing company who is highly motivated, hard working, and has good self-control.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
- Compute and record numerical data
- Check the accuracy of business transactions
- Send statements to customers and collect payments
- Prepare reports for manager and sales
- Perform data entry and administrative duties
- Supervise new employees
- Provide other miscellaneous office clerical support
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from a US accredited school in Accounting or relevant field is required (2 years direct AR experience in USA with associate degree ok)
- 1-2 years AR experience highly preferred
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and business Emails
- Detail oriented and good work attitude
- Excellent communication skills and professional manner
- Accountable for the work delivery, and maintain high accuracy and quality
- Experience in enterprise level bookkeeping systems such as Sage 100 and QuickBooks is a plus
