Job Description:
Job Summary: We are seeking an Accounts Receivable (MOR) Clerk to join our clients dynamic team in Moorestown, NJ. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Accounts Receivable Clerk will play a crucial role in processing and monitoring incoming payments, with a strong emphasis on customer service and accuracy. Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts, utilizing company records and available resources for research.
  • Conduct custom collections campaigns via emails, phone calls, and standard mail correspondence.
  • Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording AR data.
  • Conduct MOR activity reconciliations.
  • Handle customer phone inquiries.
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure accurate posting of all payments.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by leadership.
Skills and Attributes:
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and the collection process.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team, consistently meeting deadlines.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical abilities and excellent mathematical skills.
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly in MS Word and Excel.
  • Effective communication skills with customers and all levels of the organization.
Education/Experience:
  • High School diploma required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred but not mandatory.
  • Minimum of 2+ years' experience in an accounting role.
  • Experience working with an ERP system, MFG Pro experience is ideal.
