The Stow Company is currently seeking qualified candidates for an Accounts Receivable Clerk located in Holland, MI. We are the country's online premier source for custom closets and organizational solutions; designed, custom-cut, and shipped to our clients the next business day from our world class manufacturing facility in Holland, MI.While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required.Primary Purpose of Position:The Accounts Receivable Clerk will perform accounts receivable operations while safeguarding company assets. This position will also perform active review of customer accounts to maintain effective cash flow and satisfactory collection efforts. This position is full time and seated at our corporate headquarters in downtown Holland, Michigan.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Perform daily invoicing and printing.Process daily credit card payments for customers and resolve any decline issues with customers timely.Same day, weekly, monthly, and quarterly customer payment scheduling.Daily customer payment notifications.Daily credit memo processing.Prepare manual invoices as needed.Weekly statement processing.Compile data and submit for approval any adjustments needed to accounts receivable open items.AR Aging review and account clean up.Monthly commission completion.RTV recording, tracking, and filing of claims.Daily cash application.Monthly damage calculationComplete and submit necessary proof of delivery requests.Provide highest level customer service regarding collection and customer account issues. Respond to customer requests in timely manner.Expeditiously resolve customer issues, process refunds, review payment discrepancies, and account adjustments. Communicate effectively with sales and customers service as needed.Aid and complete year-end closing by preparing reports for Accounts Receivable related accounts.Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with dealers and sales.Lives Company values on a daily basis.Poses no direct threat to the health or safety of himself/herself, of others, or to property.
