The Accounts Receivable Clerk will work full-time, in-person at our office in Lexington, SC and report to the Controller and Assistant Controller and is primarily responsible for providing comprehensive accounts receivables in the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department.As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for tasks such as:Generate and send invoices to customers for products or services renderedEnsure invoices include all necessary details such as payment terms, due dates, taxes, and payment methodsPrepare, post, review, and submit customer invoicesTrack customers accounts to identify outstanding debtPlan a course of action to recover outstanding payments and generate reportsRecord payments accurately in the accounting systemReview and process customer refundsHeavy phone and email communication with customers and internal sales repsCorrespond with customers to resolve inquiriesInvestigate and resolve discrepanciesPrepare daily bank deposits and incoming credit card reconciliationsAssist in maintaining customer files and sales tax exemption formsReconcile customer accounts and other general ledger accounts as neededGenerate and file monthly/quarterly/annual sales tax reportsPerform all other duties as assignedEducation/Experience Required:Associate's Degree or equivalentAccounting: 2 yearsMicrosoft Excel: 2 yearsSchedule: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with 1 hour lunch breakWork Location: In-person, Lexington, SC 29073Benefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insurance
