DescriptionWe are in search of an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our media team located in Willoughby, Ohio. This role entails maintaining customer records, processing credit applications, and resolving customer inquiries. This position also involves monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. This role offers a primarily work from home schedule, but the candidate MUST be local to the greater Cleveland Area.Responsibilities:- Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner- Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records- Actively monitor customer accounts and take necessary action- Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally- Set up new customers in the advertising system and make necessary account changes- Initiate collection dunning letters and manage the unapplied payment report- Handle returned mail and determine the appropriate redirection- Manage incoming phone calls and communicate account status changes to relevant parties- Release ads for online and printed publications.Requirements- Demonstrated experience in B2B collections- Excellent customer service skills- Ability to work effectively in a media industry environment- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively- Strong problem-solving skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- High level of discretion and confidentiality for sensitive financial informationRobert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
