Job Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk Job Description This Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for performance of all cash collection related processes in a timely and efficient manner to ensure accurate financial reporting and recording.
Responsibilities - Proactively manage and execute collections activities to ensure timely receipt of customer payments.
- Monitor customer accounts for outstanding balances and initiate contact for payment reminders.
- Follow up on overdue invoices via phone, email, or other communication channels.
- Work closely with the Accounts Receivable team to address and resolve billing or payment discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of collection activities, customer communications, and payment arrangements in NetSuite.
- Generate and send account statements, dunning letters, and collection reports as needed.
- Collaborate with customers to resolve disputes or negotiate payment plans, ensuring consistent cash flow.
- Support the month-end and year-end close process by ensuring the accurate reporting of collections.
Essential Skills - Experience with collections, invoicing, and cash application.
- Proficiency in accounts receivable functions.
- Familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or Workday.
- Basic sorting/filtering functions within Microsoft Excel.
Additional Skills & Qualifications - High School Diploma.
- 2+ years of experience with collections in a services organization processing greater than 5,000 invoices per month collectively.
- 2+ years of experience with accounts receivable functions.
- 2+ years of experience within an ERP system.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
