Accounts Receivable Clerk 2-3Location: Broomfield CO Hybrid OnlySalary: $20.00-$24.00 DOESchedule: Full Time 40 hours a week / Non-Exempt Shift: 4-10's position (Mon. - Thurs. and/or Tues. - Fri.). Hours are 7:00 am to 6:00 pm MST (no exceptions)JOB SUMMARY: The Accounts Receivable Clerk II, III, or IV is responsible for acting as the company's front line in the maintenance of customer accounts. The Accounts Receivable Clerk's II, III, IV primary scope is to ensure the timely and accurate processing of customer invoices, credits, and payments, as well as act as point on the creation and troubleshooting pivot tables. Will also be point on the creation of V-lookups and X-lookups. Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and communication skills are keys to success in this role. This position reports up to the Accounts Receivable Manager. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepare invoices and payment activity reports, post payments to customer accounts.
  • Process daily customer checks for bank deposit and post to customer accounts.
  • Record keeping of invoices, credits, payments and supporting documents.
  • Work with internal departments and customers towards resolution of issues and discrepancies including, but not limited to, delinquent customer balances.
  • Communication liaison between company, internal departments, and customers, ensuring timely and effective communication by phone, email, and other correspondences.
  • Maintain high-performing accounts receivable aging's that minimize risk, maximize cash flow, and administer accuracy.
  • Customer database maintenance
  • Make outbound calls to customers regarding declined credit cards and overdue accounts.
  • Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 or more years' accounting work-related experience required.
  • Associate's degree in accounting and/or 1-year work-related experience or combination of education and experience preferred.

  • Requires clear and concise communication with the ability to speak/read English.
  • MUST have Excel experience 2-3 years (Intermediate to Advanced)

  • Strong attention to detail with focus on accuracy, as well as deadline-oriented
  • Strong problem-solving, multi-tasking, and analytical/research skills.
  • The ability to create and trouble shoot pivot tables in excel.
  • The ability to conduct V and X Lookups
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
  • Intermediate to advanced technical proficiency with Excel is required.
  • Pivot Tables, V lookup & X lookup are a plus.
  • Intermediate Word, Outlook, and instant messaging required.
  • Ability to navigate internet and learn new systems.
  • Knowledge of MAS 500 or other ERP accounting software preferred.
