Job Summary:

The Accounts Receivable Coordinator's focus will be maintaining the product returns inbox and obtaining needed information from other Belt Power employees in order to resolve discrepancies according to established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely, and accurate manner. This position acts as point of contact for customers, internal sales representatives, and repairs team in relation to customer returns.

Responsibilities Includes:

* Primary responsibility: Process credits, validate pricing and cost on returns, validate tax exemption status on tax removal requests and on returns

* Process return goods documents, considering part accuracy, product price, freight responsibility and closure of return

* Intercompany communications to ensure accuracy

* Verify the validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service departments and customers

* Resolve incomplete return material authorizations

* Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential

* Prepare analysis of accounts and monthly reports

* Assist with month end closing and other projects as needed

* Provide supporting documentation for audits

* Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

* 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience

* High School Diploma or GED required, college courses in accounting preferred

* Must have strong work ethics

* Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records

* General math skills

* Proficiency in MS Office, including the ability to operate computerized accounting and spreadsheet programs

* High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality

* Excellent data entry skills

* Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills

* Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills

* Effective organizational, stress and time management skills

* Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines

* Ability to work independently or as a team member

Physical Demands:

* Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds and will require manual dexterity and strength in arms.

* Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position in the office. Typical workdays and hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Occasional overtime hours, and weekend work may be required.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.00 an hour
