ResponsibilitiesAltec is hiring a Customer Service Team Lead for the Accounts Receivable Department in Birmingham, AL. This positionserves as a team leader or subject matter expert in the AR Dept. while compiling, classifying, recording, verifying and maintaining accounting data and records with minimal supervision. These associates are expected to participate and support overall department deadlines and objectives.ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service and Support:Manage a high volume of emails and phone callsEnsuring clear and effective customer communicationDocument all customer interactions in the ticketing systemQuickly identify issues and provide appropriate solutionsHandle customer invoicing issues and requestsMail invoices to customersAsst customers trying to pay invoicesTeam Collaboration:Support teamBalancing emotional responsibility for their work ethic and successContributes to team planning and organizationProduces team reportsTraining and Development:Train membersProviding written work instructions for each taskEnsure that each manager trains their assigned tasks and schedules time for training sessionsResolves moderately complex issues involving multiple accounts or across departments without supervision.
