Come join our global client and work with their dynamic Accounting team!Excellent benefits with quick coverage (medical, dental, vision, tuition assistance, 401k, Profit Sharing and more).Gym on-site, recreational activities, wear jeans to work if you want to, low turnover, great people to work with!HYBRID POSITION 35-hour weekACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE / AR / ACCOUNTING SPECIALISTDaily entry of cash to Receivable System, clear receivables, post advances received on claims and notify the claims department, release payment where applicable, and post revolving fundsAnswer co-insurers' inquiries with reference to problems regarding Vertical Line accountsCreate monthly billings and revolving fund billings to co-insurersSend refund checks on overpayments, credits due and adjustment of funds requestedRevolving fund analysis and recommendations made monthly for upcoming policy renewalsComplete corrections for out of balance accounts when monthly reconciliations, of General Ledger to Vertical System balances, are presentedDesired Qualifications:Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance, a four-year college degree in Accounting or Finance a plus2-4 years of Accounts Receivable experienceGeneral understanding of Accounting Principles and processesStrong mathematical and problem-solving skillsStrong analytical and accounting skillsAbility to collaborate with a diverse group of constituents, both internal and external and prioritize tasksProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)Team player as well as ability to work independentlyExcellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and oralP&C Insurance accounting and/or understanding of Insurance financial concepts and data a plusInsurance experience not required.
