Accounts Receivable
Monday - Friday, 4 hours/day
What will you be doing and how will you make a difference at American Senior Communities?
- Making a difference in the lives of the residents we serve by providing them care and compassion
- Acting as a positive teammate to fellow employees by helping onboard new teammates
- Responsible for data entry of accounts receivable, bank deposits, reconciliation, and resident trust
- Performs data entry for ancillary, therapy, hair care and other charges, along with the necessary data entry of trust activity, which at times may involve issuing checks
- Maintains resident business files and assists with month-end processing and billing
- Completes and transmits all Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, VA billings and private statements, adjusting resident accounts as necessary

Requirements
- Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or, one or more years related experience and/or training; or, equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations including billing guidelines
- Must have knowledge of Veterans and insurance billing guidelines
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be detail oriented, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and organize accordingly
- Must be familiar with UB04
