The Accounts Receivable Representative II will be handling daily bank deposits, cash applications and supporting the accounting and finance teams.This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Monday and Wednesday and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.Effective January 1, 2025, we will increase our required, scheduled in-office days for hybrid employees to three days a week.Your Impact* Research on all payments and deductions not clearly identified for line item application* Ensures that all cash is applied accurately and completely; must balance individually each day in order to achieve a timely monthly closing of Accounts Receivable* Balancing daily bank deposits to AR receipts* Applies cash to all customer accounts, communicating customer remittance issues to Credit Department* Supports Credit, Accounting, and Audit requests for customer payment information and cash application* Processing of internal and customer purges to customer accounts, ensuring accuracy of customer balances* Creates chargebacks for all unauthorized deductions as well as clearing all approved deductions* Supports SOX and Financial audit requirements related to ARs processes* Identify intercompany payments: mange the intercompany payment notifications, transfers and balance confirmations* Apply their experience to more complicated tasks and work under limited supervision, though decision-making is still not required as they generally follow existing processes and proceduresAbout You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring* Typically requires general education and/or vocational training plus 1 to 2 years of related experience* Accounts Receivable experience highly preferred* Thorough understanding of Cash Discount terms* Employees have a good understanding of the day-to-day job roleThe company will not pursue or support visa sponsorship for this position.In accordance with applicable law, we are providing the anticipated base salary range for this role: $21.91 - $32.80 hourlyCompany OverviewAbout our Company - Canon U.S.A., Inc., is a leading provider of consumer, business-to-business, and industrial digital imaging solutions to the United States and to Latin America and the Caribbean markets.
