Pull the Wagon Job Description: We're looking for someone with an accounting background to join our Accounts Receivable department. This position will require basic accounting knowledge and intermediate spreadsheet proficiency. This is an on-site position located in our Houston Fallbrook Showroom, so this is not your traditional stuffy office job. The showroom is filled with designers, architects, builders, and excited homeowners selecting their appliances and cabinets for their dream kitchens, which contributes to a relaxed and professional working environment. The primary focus of the Accounts Receivable Credit Analyst is to work with our B2B customers to ensure that their payments are made timely and that disputes are worked through on a routine basis. This position will reconcile customer accounts across all FBS locations in Texas as well as coordinate with local teams to resolve issues. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Call and email customers to build up the necessary relationships to make collections a smooth process Maintain and reconcile assigned customer accounts Provide invoices and statements when requested Follow up on past dues and minimize bad debt on assigned accounts Routinely apply credits (where applicable) and verify overpayments Make credit recommendations based on account records Work with local teams to resolve customer disputes Verify and process lien waivers Meet both team and individual collection goals as laid out by management Job Requirements: Basic Accounting Experience and Understanding Basic Mathematical Reasoning Written and Spoken Communication Skills AUSTIN / COLLEGE STATION / CORPUS CHRISTI / DALLAS / FORT WORTH / HOUSTON / SAN ANTONIO Positive Attitude Ability to Think Critically Motivated Personality Able to Multi-Task Time Management Computer Competency (Microsoft Office, Excel Knowledge) High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred Skills: Texas Lien Notice and Lien Experience (major plus) Accounting in an Inventory Environment Appliance Industry Knowledge Intermediate Excel Skills (Pivot Tables and VLookup) Additional Program Experience (SupplyPro, BisTrack) College Degree or Certification with Accounting Coursework Factory Builder Stores is an at-will employer and the employment we offer you is terminable at will by you or Factory Builder Stores at any time and for any reason, with or without notice or cause.
