Our client is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist for an on-site role located in Long Island City, NY. This position is responsible for managing the accounts receivable process including:
- Generating invoices to customers, processing and tracking payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely collections.
- Work with internal customers, various departments, and vendors to resolve billing issues and maintain accurate financial records.
- Provide accurate calculations for the G/L, assist with month-end and year end close
- Maintain data and customer information within internal systems
- Assist with additional office and administrative duties
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related, or High School diploma with relevant experience will be considered
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or billing. Bookkeeping or general accounting experience is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft products and QuickBooks
- Strong collaboration and communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to partner with internal teams and executive stakeholders.
