We are seeking a full-time Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our accounting team! The schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm or 8:00am-5:00pm. Duties include:
  • Monitor bank accounts.
  • Load bank reports into Excel and reconcile to posting reports.
  • Reconcile bank report and deposit match totals before posting.
  • Post Fintech and iControl deposits and match totals.
  • Monitor Fintech and iControl for customer info changes, PO validations, new customers, and rejected uploads.
  • Open, sort, date, scan, and apply checks.
  • Manage returned checks.
  • Manage new and closed locations by checking state report.
  • Monitor state database for no buy, violations, new location, and closed locations.
  • Check AR aging for past due accounts then apply outstanding credits needed, research errors and short pays, and send aging report to management and customers.
  • Mail, email, and call customers about late payments and credits. Send info to attorney as needed.
  • Conduct research for customers, drivers, and sales staff.
  • Answer the phone and door as needed.
  • Send W-9's as needed.
Qualifications
  • Relevant experience in accounts receivable or a related role
  • Customer service experience
  • PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish preferred
  • Drug and background screening required
