Description Accounts Receivable Specialist Location: Bakersfield, CA Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1st Shift Experience: 5+ years Compensation: Pay depending on experience Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Bakersfield, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable, with proven experience and a track record of success. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collections. - Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable ledger, ensuring all payments are accounted for and properly posted. - Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or discrepancies. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to accounts receivable. - Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations. - Implement and improve processes and controls related to accounts receivable. - Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging reports. - Perform credit checks and assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers. - Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. - Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
