Accounts Receivable SpecialistWe are currently looking for an energetic self-starter to join the team as a Collections Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting AR balances, reconciling payments with customers, assisting with month-end processes, and supporting the Finance team with any special projects.What you'll be doing:• Assist in account receivable balance collections with focus on parts/service, and construction jobs.• Collect past due accounts and maintain corporate past due percentages.• Update and maintain accounts receivable customer files, including creating files for new customers.• Resolve customer account issues relating to invoices not being paid on time.• Process certificate of insurance requests, W-9's & other documents.• Assist on job setups for new projects.• Enter credits/debits for disputes on customer accounts.• Answer incoming phone queue for customer with account questions.• Other duties assigned.Background Requirements:3+ years of collections or A/R experienceBusiness-to-business collections experienceProven problem-solving/investigative skills w/ AR and collectionsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programsWork Environment100% remote within central time zone - preferred to be able to drive to Brentwood office if ever needed for occasional meetings (100% remote worker will need to have a proven record of successful remote work with references to back this) or on-site at Brentwood officeAbout Aston Carter:Aston Carter provides world-class corporate talent solutions to thousands of clients across the globe.
