With nearly 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest, independently-owned tire sales and automotive repair chains in the USA.About the PositionThe Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for reviewing, researching and recording incoming cash, credits and deductions, as well as contacting customers or business partners to notify them of overdue balances and collecting payment. This role will engage daily with customers and other internal teams and ensure the AR Aging remains accurate.QualificationsTo be eligible for the Accounts Receivable Specialist, an individual must:Display a motivated, upbeat attitude and the ability to work well with othersHave accurate and efficient data entry level skills.Have strong verbal and written communication skills.Have experience with Microsoft Excel.Have 1 year of experience in Accounts Receivable/Collections, or a related field.Understand how ERP Systems and Cash Modules function for business (experience with Fuse 5 or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus).Be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.Duties & ResponsibilitiesAccurately and efficiently allocate and record all incoming payments into ERPsCommunicate with customers and address payment discrepancies and inquiries via telephone and emailCreate, maintain and utilize insightful financial reporting.Review and issue credits and rebates with proper backup.Engage in collections management processesMaintain accurate Customer Records and Tax-Exempt Statuses.Triage and monitor shared team email inboxMultitask and manage time deadlines.Work EnvironmentThe Accounts Receivable Specialist must operate in a fast-paced work environment.
